Art for Wellbeing – 6 week course

In these groups we’ll explore how art can boost our wellbeing. It's about having fun and enjoying, no need to draw perfectly.

About this group

Beginning Thursday 7 November until Thursday 12 December.
Join our 6-week art group designed for young neurodivergent and/or disabled people aged 13-25.  In these groups we’ll explore how art can boost our wellbeing. You don’t need to be good at drawing – these sessions are all about experimenting, having fun, and enjoying the process rather than trying to draw perfectly. We’ll play with different mediums like paint and pencils. Through creative prompts and activities, we’ll think about how to express our feelings and tell our own stories through art. There will be optional mindfulness and movement breaks to help us feel present and ready to create. A free resource pack, including some materials and a sketchbook, will be posted to you.
If you have any questions, want to let us know your accessibility needs or just want to chat ahead of the groups, please feel free to email us: Hub@kids.org.uk

Need more support?

Our groups are designed to help you to support your own wellbeing. Our staff will support you to make friends, have fun and do activities that feel good. But we are not trained counsellors or therapists and this is not a crisis service. If you are unwell, please take a look at our help page for suggestions of where you can find support.
