Photography Workshop

Join us on this 5-week photography workshop, where we'll explore emotions and wellbeing through photographing the everyday around us.

About this group

Explore the wonders of photography from the comfort of your own home in this 5-week workshop tailored for young individuals with SEND and disabilities. You don’t need any fancy camera – your smartphone will be great.

Each week we’ll be helping to build confidence and self-esteem through photography. We’ll be finding new ways to look at the everyday objects around us, create stories through the photos you take, and you’ll learn new skills along the way.

And there’ll be time for mindfulness exercises and online chat, too.

Each lesson will have plenty of activities to make photography fun and accessible, all within a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

So if you’d like to get creative at home, unleash your inner photographer, and learn some new photo skills, then join us as we capture the everyday in new ways.

If you have any questions or want to have a chat about this group, please email orla.price@kids.org.uk.

Need more support?

Our groups are designed to help you to support your own wellbeing. Our staff will support you to make friends, have fun and do activities that feel good. But we are not trained counsellors or therapists and this is not a crisis service. If you are unwell, please take a look at our Help page for suggestions of where you can find support.
