We'll talk about issues in the news that affect us, and how to manage any overwhelm or distressing feelings with consuming news & information online.

About this group

We are running a series of 3 groups on mental health topics. In these groups you will have the opportunity to connect with other young people, share your feelings and experiences and learn practical tools and steps to help your wellbeing. These sessions will be facilitated by Jaime. Jaime is a disability adviser and SEND expert. She has extensive experience facilitating peer support and helping young people reach their full potential.
This will be a safe and supportive space to learn and explore. You can also attend these sessions to listen and observe and there will be no obligation or pressure to take part. Our second group is on ‘staying well online’.
Our second group is about ‘staying well online’. We live in a world where we might feel overwhelmed by news and information. In this group we will learn about recognising when we might need breaks from being online and setting boundaries with how much news or information we consume. We will also think about the issues in the news that affect us, discussing them with others offline and any action we can take.

Our staff will support you to make friends, have fun and do activities that feel good. But we are not trained counsellors or therapists and this is not a crisis service.   • About me: I run the online well-being groups and a group in Wandsworth. I am also a playworker! I have a background in Art therapy.
