Registering to Vote

Before you can vote in any UK election, you must be registered. You can register to vote online in just a few minutes. Here’s how:

  1. Visit the official government website: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or click here.
  2. Fill in your name, address, National Insurance number, and other required details.
  3. Once you’ve completed the form, you’ll be registered to vote in local, general, and European elections.

Register as early as possible, as it might take a few weeks to process your application.

You can register from the age of 16, but you can only vote once you turn 18.

If you want to register in time for the General Election 2024, you need to do so by Tuesday 18th June.
