Yoga Class

Join this online Yoga class to breathe and stretch in the comfort of your home. This session can be done sitting down or standing up.

About this group

Yoga is a movement that helps us connect to our bodies, our breath and calms our minds.
Join our yoga class for all levels and abilities.
There will be a fun joyful warm-up, you will learn a flowing sequence, try balancing movements and end with a guided meditation.
You can opt out of any movement you do not feel comfortable to do. You will be able to take a break if you need. Please bring water and a yoga mat. If you do not have a yoga mat, a soft carpet, rug, towel or blanket can be used instead. All the movements can be adapted to be done seated in a chair.
By taking part in our virtual Yoga fitness class you certify that you have no medical condition nor injury that may prevent your full and safe participation without express and written permission to take part from a medical professional. You certify that you are aware of the risk of accident involved and accept full responsibility for your safe participation, given the physical absence of the instructor.
Please ensure you have the following:
• a safe space, free of any obstructions or slip/trip hazards
• adequate ventilation
• access to drinking water
• comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for movement and stretching
• a decent internet connection

Our groups are designed to help you to support your own wellbeing. Our staff will support you to make friends, have fun and do activities that feel good. But we are not trained counsellors or therapists and this is not a crisis service.
