Changes to EHCPS and more
You may have seen news about the government making changes to plans for education support in England. These changes are connected to the government’s Schools White Paper, which looks at how the education system works and what might change in the future.
Right now, lots of organisations, including us, are working through what these changes might mean in practice. Especially for children and young people with SEND.
So...What Does This Mean For You?
The honest answer right now is: we’re still finding out.
When the government announces changes, it can take time for the details to become clear. Policies often need to go through different stages before we know exactly what they will look like in schools, colleges, and local services.
At the moment, we’re:
- Reading through the announcements and proposals
- Talking with policy experts and professionals
- Looking at what these changes could mean for young people in real life
As we learn more, we’ll explain things in clear, simple ways so you can understand what might affect you.
We'll Keep You Updated
